PsA Action Month Helps Patients Live Their Best Lives
This month is National Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA) Action Month and the National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) is working to ensure individuals living with PsA have the support and resources they need to live their best lives.
“Education around how to best manage psoriatic disease is the number one priority of PsA Action Month,” said Randy Beranek, president and chief executive officer of NPF. “Our goal is to provide people living with psoriatic disease the resources needed to take steps towards better health outcomes.”
The NPF launched a website with resources for PsA, including an interactive quiz to help people identify early signs of the disease, educational material on pain management, tips for everyday tasks, such as cooking, and a workplace resource guide. In addition, the website includes stories from individuals living with PsA and the information about walk, cycle, or run events dedicated to raising awareness for PsA.
