This ongoing series describes characteristic patterns of allergic contact dermatitis and provides practical schematics to illustrate these patters by region. This second foucs in the series is the face. The face is widely exposed to the surrounding environment and is also a region that comes into frequent contact with the hands. As a result, contact dermatitis presenting on the face may be from a causative agent that had direct, indirect or airborne contact.
