PATIENT PRESENTATION A 10-year-old African-American boy presented with multiple monomorphic papules on his forehead for 5 weeks. He denied any pruritus or tenderness over the papules. Six weeks prior to presentation, the patient was hospitalized for respiratory arrest during status asthmaticus. During his 8-day hospitalization, he underwent intubation and was treated with ampicillin, azithromycin, amoxicillin-clavulanate, dexamethasone and prednisone.
