There’s no question that the government is pushing doctors of all specialties to start using electronic health records in their offices. The stimulus bill, which was signed in February, allocated money so that physicians adopting a certified EHR system in the next 2 years can receive grants, while mandating that those not on board by 2015 will start to receive penalties.
