What Is this Midline Cystic Lesion on the Neck?
A 3-year-old girl with no significant past medical history presented with an anterior neck lesion that had been present since birth. She had been seen by a dermatologist in the past and was diagnosed with congenital milia. Although asymptomatic, the lesion had slowly grown, which was concerning to the patient’s mother. On examination, there was a 4.5 × 4 mm soft, mobile white cyst on the anterior neck at the sternal notch. The rest of the examination was normal.
